OE = Original Equipment.
If you're going to spend money on it, make you're investment functional. Get a new stock like one from B&C, Prophet River sells them and they considerably better than the factory plastic job. If you're just looking to make cosmetic changes, put some stickers on it.

Bell & Carlson stocks 100%. Ordered one and put it on my Weatherby S2. Makes a huge difference in the feel and looks of it. Supposed to be more accurate as well, but I think I'm the limitation in that respect. Drop in fit for the Tikkas and lots of different finishes to choose from.
Ive bought and installed 2 B&C stocks and saw zero gain in accuracy, waste of money. All my Tikkas have easily lived up to there MOA gurantee shooting anywhere from 1/4-3/4 groups with factory stocks in all conditions from +30 to -30 wet or dry. I currently have 3 in they safe...all are extremely good shooting with factory stocks.
Want functional investment buy bottom metal to accept AICS mags to lengthen the OAL and have the rifle shoot bug holes. Or save the $400 you would have spent on a B&C and add that to your optic budget and buy good glass...thats functional investments.
The benefit of the B&C stock is its rigidity. It's much stiffer and more solid than the original plastic, and under field conditions...shooting off various field-expedient rests, off bipods, from kneeling and semi-supported positions, perhaps leaning into the rifle to a greater or lesser degree than you would when shooting from a bench...you will find that the more rigid stock will flex much less, and will be much less likely to apply uneven pressure to the barrel that could affect accuracy or POI.

Totally agree ! Tikkas are great shooters out of the box and after few hundred round they shoot even better !it is a benefit to use AICS mags to have a longer OAL and greater capacity.I did this Boyds stock for my Tikka Battue with hunting in mind but looks like I have no time to do this yet , to have a bit heavier stock reduces recoil as well.
