Does the 7mm08 deserve its reputation as a "girl's" gun

I don't think any gun is a "girls gun" anymore than any inanimate object is for "girls"

It's 2016; if you want to shoot a 7/08 and put barrettes in your hair giv'er


I will say when I worked at a gun counter a lot of seemingly "manly men" bought 243 ammo...

Let me guess, your 'circle of shooters' also think a pick up truck without serious lift and tires is a girl's truck? Perhaps they also drive chipped out diesels with annoyingly loud pipes? ;-)

The people I know that refer to it as a "girl's gun" often shoot magnums and coincidentally kill a lot fewer and smaller critters than the guys know that shoot the 708!!
