Hi there fellow CGNers. I'm hoping that someone could shed some light on this for me.
I have a 935 mossburg with the over-bored barrel which makes it not able to fire slugs. I need a bear defense shotgun with a short barrel and I would like to use my 935. The only smooth bore short (18.5) barrel I can find is for a 930. Mossburg claims you can not put a 930 on a 935. I feel like they say that as a liability issue because some idiot will jam a 3.5" in his 3" chamber and sue them. Does anyone know if the barrel would fit and be fine for shooting 3" buck or slug rounds? If I cant get a short barrel for this gun, my next best option is to find a cheap Tac 500 or something and just have to have another gun.
Thanks for the help
