$50 Dry Tumbler at CT

Yeah I did that it said aisle 40, nothing the but chop saws.

They were hiding at the butt end of what I assume was aisle 39.

Ya.... If they are on the end of the aisle it tends to get screwed up...... Took me 15 minutes to find a can of quick start last week...... Still faster than the level of service I woukd have received... Lol

I have one and it works great. I used crushed walnut from Princess Auto. I have stuffed have a paint can of 9mm brass in it no problem.

Pet stores as crushed walnut shells for lizard bedding or cat litter or any place that sells sand blasting media such as TSC, princess auto, Praxair etc.

I just got one too, as discussed in another thread I wanted to clean/tumble before decapping as my bench isn't set up yet but want the brass ready at least! Also, the instructions say to fill the container 2/3 full with media(crushed walnut shells) and then fill with brass, but no more than 5lb. Any other pointers? I have read before with average brass to tumble for 4 hours or so? Thanks!

I tried tumbling for 1hr then 3hrs I didn't see a big difference.

The quality/ type and cleanliness of your media will often contribiute to the time required to clean your brass. A few drops of case cleaner (storebought or home made) will also help.

if you have a tsc store around they have it on for $20 or did, picked some up tuesday. princess also has it but they don't price match and I believe it was $38 for the same bag.

Media was brand new also,then I put some mothers metal polish in.... Made a very noticeable difference.
