It didn't take me long to get used to the trigger and it is great taken down and put in my backpack. I got mine in like new condition with the blue Springfield case for $700.00 and that is the top dollar I would pay for one myself in .22lr/410. I would pay more for an original .22 Hornet/410/.45LC though, if it came with the scope and rail maybe $1200.00-$1500.00.

I think the squeeze trigger is a fantastic survival trigger as I generally like to wear Buffalo mitts over top of cotton gloves..... i really hope this thread goes somewhere. Don't forget to vote yes!
 
.22/.410, and a proper all metal M6...

I want a .22/.410 so bad, I've come within inches of buying one of the Crappa or Sewage Arms variants. Please save me from myself, I just don't want to go there.

Indeed, ordering 14" SBRs from the States would still be easier than trying to convince someone to make a batch.

What about DLask?

They have all the licenses and machinery. It would most likely be pricey, but they could do it.
 
Stateside, Paladin Armory is in the business of creating short barrel shotguns (SBS & AOW) from factory full length shotguns.

Another possible option if you don't mind the asking price, exchange rate & import fees.

They have the Springfield/CZ M6 as one example amongst others.

That would be awesome. Expect it would be pricy which could be problematic. I think it would take a lot more interest than 37 of us (so far) to make any manufacturer seriously think about it.

Would love to see a big name manufacturer take a go at it. Like Ruger or Henry.
 
Posted the question in the DLask sub-forum, let's see if they come up with a response.

DLask is probably not a bad option, because they're used to small batch manufacturing. The big manufacturers would need to pump out a volume that might not be feasible.

Really suprised nobody has made a "quality" remake of these especially with all the survival and preppers that are the new craze.
I have had a new and old Savage arms and have been close to buying an original M6. If a quality well built and useable product was made available I would gladly pay as this type of firearm works perfect for my needs.
 
The machined components would be pretty straightforward to manufacture. How many small mfg. shops would have the metal pressing equipment?
