Like a dog with a bone. The haters just can't let go.
Really though.
Yeah Dietz I had an issue with my 7.5" rifle, that I built from parts(NEA upper, lower, barrel and BCG)had a failed extractor after 2000 or so rounds,it cracked and did a bit of damage to the upper inside.nothing that would actually affect the function, but I k ew it was there and I didn't like it.after I contacted them, not only did they replace the BCG,not just the extractor on the bolt, but the entire BCG,they also replaced my upper.
From my experience with other companies and their warrenty, they immediately ask if you built it or bought it as a complete, and if it was a parts gun, your #### out of luck with any warrenty.
And considering I paid less then 800 for the whole rifle, and it's still running strong years later with minor maintence shooting less then stellar quality ammo(norinco and MFS Steel case for the most part)I'd like to think it's a fairly reliable gun,not to mention how good NEA is with customer support.
I wish I had as much to say about other manufactures I've bought products from(Troy,para...hell even ruger was a less then ideal experience )
I'll happily keep supporting NEA because I know the they are backed by the best customer service in the country.sure they had some initial problems, but from what I've seen and experienced, the products have come leaps and bounds from the initial product.
