Agreed. $1200 is way over my limit for a tikka.

But that discounted old T3 price is where they need to be to sell them I think. Gotta really be a tikka fanboy to drop 1200 on a T3x

For 1200 you can buy a Kimber classic, or a new model 70 EW, or a used Montana, or for cheaper a Rem 700 mountain The T3 is a budget rifle that is fully out of control on the price front.

Ok, that's a bit ridiculous. I've owned a few Sako's and sold them in favour of my T3's. I do agree that $1200-1400 is a bit steep, but I would consider that steep for 95% of all factory made rifles!

gotta be some huge profit margins on this rifle. I think they are over priced for how there built, and have been for a while. I bought 2 new t3 in 2015 for darn near 40% off what they are asking for the t3x
