Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Found a nice Citori 525 Field 12 gauge as I liked the fit and feel better than the Citori 625...

So the field line-up for 2016 is a Browning Citori 525 Field 20 and 12 gauge, and a Browning BSS 20 and 12 gauge ( and, yes... same floor ;) ) ;

I swear to God you are cutting and pasting! LOL

To keep the thread going, here is a "blast from the past" that I recently acquired off of the EE. It is a William Landell of Glasgow 13 gauge from roughly 1850-1860. This gun is in remarkable condition and I would have to qualms about taking it afield.

Very nice Brian and another great find. The engraving looks incredible, especially considering the age of the gun.

Very nice Brian. I find that in order to keep some sanity in my safe and in my bank account, I need to create limits. Bring some focus to my collecting. Otherwise everything is fair game and there is no end to what may be searched for, examined and bought. I draw the line at break action. It must be a break action. Clearly Brian, you are living a life free from self imposed limits! Hahahaha!

Beautiful gun.

Beautiful gun.

No James, I have lost my sanity---especially if you ask my wife!

Here is another. It is a 1982 Armas EGO Sidelock. It has ejectors, 27 3\4" barrels, 3” chambers, choked Mod & Full, LOP is 14 3\4” and it weighs 7 pounds 1 ounce. It has very nondescript wood but I did refinish it which has helped.

Very nice work Patrick, did you restain the wood?

Thanks John. I stained it with Saman Cognac and then Birchwood Casey walnut. After putting on about 6 to 8 coats of diluted Tru-oil I removed the Tru-oil with steel wool and some of the top coat of Birchwood Casey stain to expose the Cognac stain. It was a good learning experience.

Very nice SW! Not to everyone's taste but for a gun to be used, I really like the pad. I've done a couple of my guns almost exactly the same. Great find!

My latest refinishing project. An Italian 1965 Armis San Marco Royal Special 12 gauge that I picked up from a fellow SxS enthusiast. Anson & Deeley boxlock, 27 11/16" chrome barrels choked Modified & Full, 2 3/4" chambers, 14" LOP and weighs in at 6 pounds 11 ounces.
