M98 Action, 1:13 twist 26" Barrel
285 gr PRVI, 3.300" OAL
Swedish Metallverken Brass - thick!
1. RL17 - 64.0 grs (full) - 2485 fps
2. H4350 - 64.0 grs (full) - 2400 fps
Reformed WCC 55 30-06 Military Brass
1. RL17 - 67.0 grs (compressed) - 2610 fps Ouch!
2. H4350 - 67.0 grs (compressed) - 2500 fps
3. Superformance - 71.0 grs (compressed) - 2500 fps
In rough order of Burn Rate - confirms again that RL17 is faster than H4350. Loads in RED are considered Max @ ~60K psi. I'll drop the charge by at least one (1) gr.
More people should try Superformance. It's available, relatively inexpensive and a good performer. People shy away because few loads are published. It's a high density Ball Powder with a Burn Rate between H4350 and H4831.

. Call me a wimp but that is enough!!

glad to hear the PRVI's are holding together so well, compared to the partitions.
