I got one from the same batch, and it shoots like a laser! My only regret is that the stock is beat up (especially around the butt plate) and I wish I'd picked up one of the unfinished stocks that CSC had on display.

I own several Swiss rifles, but my favorite is the oldest ..maybe because there's days I think I'm as old as she is ..

Just moved into a new place with, for the first time, space for my reloading gear. First up: loads for my 1889! Second up: loads for my Gew. 88.
Absolutely Stunning. How about did you manage to find this set up? My guess would be from a Swiss Soldier who bought his service rifle after he was done?
The refinished K11 has been replaced by an original condition K11 I bought in Zürich last summer.
Should I assume you imported a K11? From Switzerland?

One of my K31's comes to the range with me every time I go. I had both of them out the other day - one scoped and one with a Swiss diopter. Buried in my safe is a K11 that I only take out once or twice per year. I'm thinking of taking my scoped K31 out on my hunting trip this year, it deserves some time to stretch its legs. I'll get some pics later.

They needed a little wipe down anyways. Here's my two K31's and my K11. The bayonet is non-matching and the cleaning kit I picked up online. Can someone please inform me what is the purpose of the mirror?
Diopter I bought from Carlos and I am still learning how to adjust it to fit me - I need more consistent trigger time I think, but I like it thus far. The scope mount is the Swiss products side-mount topped with a Nikon Prostaff that I just sighted in on Friday; the rifle has already shook loose a Zeiss Terra and an older Bushnell, so the jury is out on the Nikon.
Both K31's have the last soldier tags under the butt plate - I haven't looked at the K11 yet, but I think I will before I put it back into the safe. Just checked under the K11 and it has the soldier's tag there as well, this one even has the serial number of the gun on the back to confirm they go together. I rubbed the sling with some Obenauf's so now it has an interesting smell between Ballistol and bee's wax.
Here was my target from Friday - scope took only one group to sight in the new Nikon and the other shots are from me trying to adjust the diopter from 200 metres to 50 metres. Shot using GP11 surplus ammo.

Thanks, Carlos. I remember you mentioning this in the past but I was in a hurry to get out and back, so I just took a few targets with me. One flew away in the wind - so I shot quickly while the wind wasn't howling.

Beautiful rifles, and it seems they are a good investment as well.

This is one of my targets I shot two weeks ago, at 50meters (better for my eyes).
I love those black paint samples as targets,
