Mountain Goat Hunting?

This is like over hearing a group of women discussing their husbands in sensitive matters. One must like ramen noodles and freeze dried lasagna, I'll admit it.

I can live with that....... The odd can of clarke's Irish stew is acceptable as well..... As is tuna helper, canned chili (maybe not the best option in a shared tent scenario), chef bouyardee ravioli....... Just giving you options for your "American meal plan" angus...... Lol

Really, the only "no compromise" item is coffee...... There must be coffee...... I would add liquor and beer for after the hunt, but I know you have weight restrictions.......

Let me know if I can be a typical good guest and bring dessert...... I can head over to the science museum in Ottawa and get a case of freeze dried ice cream like the astronauts eat....... :)

Hindquarters, front quarters and back- straps, then head and cape is three. In a pinch just the head and cape is enough for a first class funeral. Who would know?

Ahhh... I see... we do it differently in NorOnt... you might want to reconsider just three trips... Super Brad is looking a little pudgy these days...

there s a confusion: scottish is not to compare with british and very tasty most of the time ....

I have been back to my motherland Phil....... I am Scottish...... I was picking, as I actually enjoy haggis as well as meat pies and haddock....... Bangers were great, mash, not so much......

The funny thing with me and Scottish (and British) cuisine, is that I have absolutely zero sweet tooth..... None.... It's the portions that bother me as dinner there is designed to leave room for dessert while this guy likes his meat and taters....... I can honestly say I haven't had dessert in over a year...... I like a piece of cheesecake now and then, but that's about it.......

Although I must admit, a piece of shortbread with the morning coffee is nice.......

Angus, are you listening?...... Lol

Ouch!..... I am carrying my summer weight, thank you for noticing... Unfortunately the hot days lead to beer and BBQ, which doesn't get burned off by the odd round of golf and some fishing.... lol...

In preparation for my hunt I will slowly transfer to an all ramen noodle and freeze dried lasagna diet for a month..... I will be svelt, and Angus will be pleased by the extra fuel in the boat tank.... :)

Uhmmm... truth be told... that was the "pot calling the kettle black," there ain't nothing "svelt" about my current frame... but I make up for it with a "can do" attitude.

Awesome pictures Angus, looking at those has got me excited to go chase my own goat. Hopefully I'll get the three day long weekend I'm owed next weekend and head back here:
to go find a particular billy that I have unfinished business with from two years ago. It's been a particularly cold and wet summer here so I hope their coats are growing in faster than usual so I can get a goat with a bit of shag at least. Best of luck to everyone on their goat hunts this fall!
