Precision/Sniper/Tactical

Got a Cadex Patriot Lite in 338 lap. The pict below is with Swiss P ammo at 400@ ya that's 1/2 in vert and 1 in horiz at 400m . It's new and those a bullets 50-54 on target. I would like to find some other in Ottawa who want to do some long distance stuff and can help me reload the 60 empties I have now. Oh I should add the Cadex owner Serge is great and this is the greatest rifle I have ever used.

Top left target is sighting in with hunting ammo.

Defiance Deviant 308 action
26" Krieger 1:10 twist rate
AI AX chassis
Trigger Tech Trigger
Cadex muzzle break
Tangent Theta 5-25
Sphur Cantilever mount.

Eye candy into the mix / top rifle is a custom Tactical Ordnance branded Defiant Action / Cadex Chassis / Bushnell optic. Bottom is a complete Cadex CDX-30 in .308 with 20" barrel & Steiner 5.5-25x56 optic, the guys at Tactical Ordnance have some serious build capabilities & one is only limited by imagination / budget:cheers:

That look really nice, I might put that stock on my spare Remington 700 that I have.

I just wonder if it has the same material like the one for Remington 870 shotgun if you have one to compare.

It does, its not terrible to be honest. The "grip" for the palm swell is surprisingly grippy haha

I've FINALLY made it to the end of all the posts so now it's my turn to share. I've recently aquired a Remington 700 tactical .223 with a 20" 1/9" twist barrel free floated in a b&c m40 stock I've also got an EGW 20 MOA rail. My scope is not worth mentioning and isn't even in the pictures, I'm looking at a Nikon or bushnell .223 scope with BDC, haven't decided which yet. I plan on having the barrel threaded at some point and I'm definitely getting myself a tactical bolt knob.
Anyways enough with the chatter here's a few pictures

Nice rigs man! Love the 700's in that stock, Magpul right?

that it is! looks slick, love that it has a big aluminum chassis to crank down onto. No bedding needed, for less then half the price of any other chassis systems.

I will sheepishly admit that the magpul is not as comfortable as the boyds with a tacpro cheek riser. The boys is thick, and is a much wider and more comfortable cheek rest. The hard plastic wouldn't be terrible on the magpul if the cheek riser didn't taper inwards at the top, if they left it thick and rounded not almost triangular at the top...

Mind you the boyd's palm swell/pistol grip is a bit to thick for my liking, great for a bench grip. Don't know how comfortable it will be with tree rat blasting.
The magpul grip/palm swell/angle is very comfortable for me in all positions though.

This is nit picking though. other then that, no complaints!

The magpul was only "temporary" until the McMillan, but I don't think I will bother with the McMillan on this rifle.

I've got the b&c m40 on my remmy right now, I like it but I find it kind of heavy. I also want to get a DBM kit and have NO idea which to choose, so many options.
