You do know it use to be the right of every free man to be armed until the government decided for everyone to remove that right and make it a privilege.
You do know that government was elected by the people of this country, right?

What??My point is: blame the current generation for the mess we are in now.... but blame yourselves equally for the current situation we are in....
Same ####ing team here. So act like it.... work to make it a right again
You can't honestly say that social engineering is ####ing up society... when the people today grew up in an engineered system.
The people that could have prevented that system are the ones #####ing now.
To be fair. It is not your fault specifically... but I know I am active in the fight... can you say the same?

No. You would have a broken window and some criminal would have a gun.
Over 60% of Canadians that actually took the time to vote didn't vote Liberal in the last federal election. I have never voted Liberal in my life and never will. You do know that government was elected by the people of this country, right?

Yup, I used to have guns in the back window of my truck. Even leave them there overnight. It's only since the pandering to the SJW's/Libs over the last 20 years that has put us here, in the current situation. Back then I could also go out in the bush, put up pop cans and shoot the hell out of em and guess what? No one lost their freakin minds! It's true! Unbelievable I know! lol.
Crazy what 20 years of propaganda can do eh?

LOL. Why do you have a broken window or door in your home? My car doesn't and wouldn't have a banner advertising I have guns.
Worse are the socially engineered gun owners who perpetuate the new 'reality' (full and unquestioning obedience and submission as a civic duty/sucking up for the most minor of changes). They ignore past freedoms as relics of an archaic, anarchistic time.
I don't hear any defending related to this case, only sheep-like celebration of the law. Maybe your putting words in my mouth, and you wouldn't be the first.
He should have been better engineered. And perhaps, the actual criminal, the thief, should be the focus...for once.
There was a lot more of it in the first thread. However you and at least one other neglect to acknowledge that the gun owner committed a criminal offense and is therefor a criminal. And you didn't really acknowledge my point or question above.
I'm not going to just willingly accept any new restrictions regarding firearms, but I am going to follow the laws that have been on the books for over 20 years. I am also going to encourage others to follow the storage/transportation laws, and chastise those who don't...because I want to keep the rights we do have. You can call that being a sheep, zombie, socially-engineered or whatever...I call it being a responsible gun owner.
We're all entitled to our own opinions.
What??
Nutshell. I've been active (and many other here on CGN as well) since well before FAC's were required (c1978) and in many cases, long before that. I have written more letters (actual, hand written letters) to Newspaper editors, MP's & ministers over then decades than I can remember. Don't blame the older generation for the mess that we have in the form of the Firearm Act. We fought hard and continue to do so this this very day. Not so long ago, we did not have the benefit of instance communications like we have today. No google, no Facebook, no text messaging, no blogs, no cell phones, no voice messaging, etc, etc. Everything was done by snail mail, land line telephones and word-of-mouth.
Perhaps you could educate yourself a little on The history of gun control in Canada. (There is an actual book on the subject). Liberal Bill C-68, Firearm Act of 1995 and the movers & shakers pushing into law. Rangebob here on CGN has a wealth of knowledge on the subject. I'm sure he would be willing to share if you ask him politely.
