Trail cam pics

That spot is a crossing, and all it has on it is the mineral block at present. Earlier, for spring bear, we had corn in the blue barrel. The pics you chose came from two cameras that were positioned fairly close together at that time. I've moved the one about 5km away now. We'll see what it gets. It has not even got a salt block where it is now.

I've never given moose credit for having great eyesight, but they sure seem to notice cameras. The response is pretty predictable; moose will stick their nose on it, bears try to eat it, and deer give it a "wtf?" look. The bear pic is from my bait site, and I've got about 4 videos of bears knawing down on the steel box. I have one camera that I think I'm going to have to move because the moose keep rubbing against it and pushing it around the tree (it's just strapped on). I've been gradually switching over to no-glow because the red glow at night definitely spooks the bucks.

You think the human scent would be gone after a month out in the rain and weather, but maybe it is the scent, or maybe the plastic has it's own scent that makes them curious.

Is it human scent on the camera? or is it just WTF is that thing on the tree? That makes them come up and check them out. (or wreck them)
I doubt plastic holds human scent for long, but the straps might.

Like i mentioned earlier, ever since I started wearing surgical gloves when handling my cams, I no longer get those eyeball pics lol I also spray them down with that no scent spray prior to bringing them into the woods.

Lots of free range visitors, we wonder why we were not seeing any deer. Three months of on camera !!!

^^^^ That sucks. Know any of them?

Not a single one.... but the girl looks S3XY but no action on camera. Otherwise I would've posted that too.

Is there a trail through there or why so much foot traffic? It's private property right?

Oh, absolutely private with chain and sign on the gate.

Next house is about a mile on the north side and no neighbors, even our camper widows were shot !!!

Funny seqence.

The spike goes busting past the camera. First time I've caught him on this camera. He is usually further on the north end of the property.

...and a few minutes later I see why he was skulking past in such a hurry. The bigs boys were running him out.

And a couple of small cubs.
