Thanks guys . Spot and stalk. Crept over a hill and saw him in a thick chokecherry bush. Waited him out for an hour or so and he exited the bush 40 yards from me. He was quartering away and his head was on the opposite side of his body from me. My arrow entered halfway up his body at his last rib and exited right behind his shoulder. It then struck him in the side of the head behind his eye where it penetrated his skull and broke off. He bucked up like he was struck by lightning and somersaulted back into the bush he came from. It was over in seconds. I will not forget that hunt.

The broadhead is still in his head in this pic.a surprising example of what a modern bow is capable of.
