As much as I am hopefully anticipating success, not looking so good. No update from TI at all, that I have seen. If I am wrong, someone please feel free to direct me to the info.
Looking at something else, and should the Q3 indicated delivery pass without a Type81 in my hands, I am looking at something else right now, that those funds could get me part way there.
In my industry, if I say something will happen by a set date, I will move the sun and stars to make that happen, and keep the client informed all the way. I haven't missed a date in almost 20 years. Serious financial penalties are the results of failure in what I do.
If the q3 deadline passes, I really have to evaluate if I wish to reward substandard performance on delivery with my money. I'm not big on that idea.
Calculate how many units pre-sold (paid in full). That money sitting in someone's account making interest, or other investment right now, and not even so much as a comment on status (that I know of). Not so cool, in my books.
So, quoting myself.
And I get called out for being a whiner, and crapping on TI.
Seems I posted on a thread, started by TI, so they could have information on my position in the matter. No mention of pulling the pin (and some have, already, from what I've seen). TI should be able to have feedback from the invested buyers, IMO. Here, they can read it in their thread. Fanboys crying foul and talking about panic. Where in your little imaginations do you read any sense of "panic" in the above? I think it is reasonable to post my thoughts in their thread, so they can guage their market.
Reading all the fanboy flak, maybe I should just STFU. No problem. But it is a severe dis-service to a business, again IMHO, to pull out, or even think of pulling out, without giving them honest feedback as to why. Businesses cannot change things to better gain the trust and support of their target market, without hearing real constructive criticism.
Again, refer to their info in post #3. I believe they have a certain amount of experience to make these statements.
If they don't know what other buyers, and myself feel about this process, just how do all their flag wavers think that they can continue to move forward, and IMPROVE future business relations?
And may I say once again, I am NOT crapping on TI. If TI or anyone reads it that way, the fault therein lies in how I am conveying my message. Only TI will influence my final decision in this matter. The rest of you and your comments, are information for me to guide my decisions, but otherwise, irrelevant to me.
