AR-15's

Fairly plain. Might get an aim point for it, might not. Probably will. Believe it or not this ended up being a budget build for me.

happy birthday to myself - I just received a new stock set for my 7.5" flame throwing cannon, so I switched around some grips and sights

You may want to try an AR-F3 riser for that Burris Fast Fire; I got one a couple of months ago and find it to be a great AR height mount. I can imagine the red dot is not easy for you to use with it sitting that low.

actually by tucking in the rifle up high and tight the dot is fine - it's the way I shoot. Works perfect for me. Also with it setup like that, I can use the back up sights when I need them without even seeing the burris!

thanks for the advice. Those risers work well too

SIG M400: Midwest Industries keymod hand guard, Midwest BUIS, BCM stock, bcm CH, magpul k2 grip, BCM stubby for grip, VTac light mount with surefire and aimpoint micro H1 with LRP mount.

Here's one to counter all those high-end thoroughbred AR's out there....... a purebred mongrel thrown together with
various parts bought off the EE (except the optics). Not pretty, not worth much, but extremely reliable, reasonably
accurate, and not too expensive!
