AR-15's

Looking through all the pics here gives me the urge to go out and buy another AR. My wallet (and wife) hate CGN!

Lol, I'm positive your Mod 1 build cost more.

I slapped my Mod 0 together with mostly parts from my spare parts bin, but the more I research about the Mod 0, the stronger my OCD kicks in and I'm finding myself trying to source out every little detail. This is totally contrary to me previously proclaiming I would be satisfied with "close enough".

BTW, nice photos of you rifle. Good quality pics go a long way and very satisfying when the come out right. I'm not a good photographer though, so I count on taking a million photos and screening through all the junk to find some decent pics, lol!

Yup I'm finding the same thing, that's why I now want an elcan spectre dr. and thanks! My two hobbies, shooting and shooting, taking tons of photos and weeding through them to get maybe 5 great ones is what pros do. Hell one road trip I took 14,000 photos. In one week.

Here two of my favourites from that session

Stop planting ideas in my head! Lol, I looked at the price of those and started back peddling on the idea of building a Mod 1/Block 2 clone, not to mention the thought of going full retard trying to source an ATPIAL/AN PEQ 15, yikes!

My hats off to those dedicated to building accurate clones though It's not an easy task spending the time, sourcing the proper parts and coughing up the dough to pay for them.

Green laser looks awesome in those photos!

Yeah I heard IRG brought in some of those civilian peq15s a couple years ago. I would have gone for that's as its cheaper than the Steiner DBAL but alas that's what was available... 2200$ laser on a 1700$ gun. I need NVG now.

My next project is a simple one. The most iconic at to me is the socom style so that's my next upper.

That with a surefire m951, mmmmmm.

I'd have to sell one of my precision rigs with glass to pay for something like that.

That was the exact post I was picturing when I started updating my mk18. His is what I strive for and I hate him :p

But I still prefer my colt stock

Was that a Colt Canada stock?

Snapped a few shots of my CC that same day, may as well post 'em, haha!

Thanks! took me awhile to get it together. Tough year in AB here, had to sell so many guns to keep up with the bills. Only have the MK18, M4A1 and my SA15 left .... lol.

$hitty about having to offload guns to pay for bills, I've done that before. But yeah, that Mk18 is the cream of the crop, nice build.

I think I did a good job on a tight budget. It's lots of fun and pretty accurate.
This is My Ruger AR-556.... I'm a big Ruger fan so for me, it was a no brainer.

Can I play? I know I'm not in the same league yet but I'm getting real happy with how it's coming together

I am REALLY liking this rifle. I have similar tastes in optics - I'm a big fan of ACOGs, particularly the TA11.

My personal favorite of my rifles is my "C8A3" - I really like the simple C8 lines. I'm just waiting for a set of green CC handguards to arrive. Going to ditch the vfg and light when they arrive, I think... and of course the bayo's just mounted for photos :) Nice and light, without all that stuff on the front end.

Next favorite would be my IUR enhanced rifle. A bit heavier than the "C8"... Not quite as quick and handy. Still fun though.

And third favorite AR, which is funny given that it's the most costy of the three would be the HK "416" Fun gun... just not as much fun to shoot as the other two.

Still needs an optic, and some better quality pictures, but I'd like to humbly offer my first contribution:

Colt Canada IUR upper and BCG, Raptor charging handle, NEA stripped lower, S&J hardware, Spike's T2 buffer kit, Magpul furniture, Cadex stubby foregrip
