I'm sure for the money the Shadow II will set the standard, but the Tanfoglio IIs are hard chromed with polygonal rifled, conical barrels. These two features alone up the price a chunk. The drop in trigger kits are supposed to be excellent.
I don't own either but I can't understand how tanfoglio manages to charge 50-70% more for the same...
A glock, HK, and Bersa XT all have polygonal rifling and the cost of this pistols is under $1000.
Tanfoglio charges more just because they made a name, but the value is simply not there in my humble opinion, I will never drop that money on one.
I lined my shadow 2 up against my stock 3 and they're practically twins

You are paying for the name.
Also, Italian vs Czech labour.
How can Ferrari charge so much compare to a Porsche?
Love to see you shoot the shadow 2 at the match. When are you going to shoot production division again?
Congratulations of your new guns
