Just picked up my beautiful Shadow 2. Pics don't do Urban Grey colour justice. Almost looks like they copied my Australian length Tanfoglio Stock 2. Hahaha.....

Looks to me like the Shadow2 frame is a clone of the Tanfanglio! Now there is a switch. Chris why don't you do a side by side test.

Take Care

Bob

I'll take the shadow 2 any day, the trigger is good out of the box whereas in the tanfo you gotta hire a team of IPSC shooters to get the perfect polishing recipe.

I don't own either but I can't understand how tanfoglio manages to charge 50-70% more for the same...

Blows my mind.

I'm sure for the money the Shadow II will set the standard, but the Tanfoglio IIs are hard chromed with polygonal rifled, conical barrels. These two features alone up the price a chunk. The drop in trigger kits are supposed to be excellent.

A glock, HK, and Bersa XT all have polygonal rifling and the cost of this pistols is under $1000.

Tanfoglio charges more just because they made a name, but the value is simply not there in my humble opinion, I will never drop that money on one.

Hard chroming isn't cheap. There is a big difference in cost between a Glock barrel and a fitted conical Tanfoglio barrel. You may not see the value proposition, and that is totally fair, but the Shadow 2 msrp is $1379 and Stock II msrp is $1860, so you are overblowing the price premium of the Tanfoglio given some of its additional features.

Love to see you shoot the shadow 2 at the match. When are you going to shoot production division again?
Congratulations of your new guns

Hahaha I haven't shot production in a while. I've been messing around with a Grand Power X-Calibur and it really suits me nicely. Maybe you'll see me in production soon. ;)
