This post has nothing to do with selling anything but rather a matter of opinion, please do not try to sell your cz here use EE.

From what I have heard there will be no more cz-858's imported into the country only the new 958's instead. Thus meaning that the "Value" on the cz will eventually inevitability rise. I'm not liking my cz as much as a buddy's ar .223 , my cz is not stock It's fully equipped with fab defense black looks gnarly. It may just be a phase as I do not own one but needing a little space in the gun locker. Should I wait as they will dwindle in numbers and it may increase a decent amount? What's your take on this?

958's have been dropped.

Im never selling my CZ858 it will be passed down to my kids in 30 years to show them what rifles we once were able to own. And they will need them for the revolution anyways :)

If we leave it up to our kids it'll be to late!!!
And I'll never sell mine :)

West Rifle just got their FRT approved for their CZ-858 type rifle.

Already in talks for manufacturing, and best of all its going to be made in Canada.
Value of your CZ-858 will probably rise a hair more but once West Rifles WR762 rifle comes available a used cz858 value will go down. Just my opinion... For more info you can check out West Rifle's forum on CGN if anyone's interested.

People said CZ858 would go down in price when the VZ's showed up. and here we are and CZ's held their values.

There isn't enough info on the new CZ's to make any assumptions just yet. And I havent seen MSRP either.

The CZ 858 might increase its value only if it's not used at all and kept in mint condition for years and years. Otherwise, it will just be another used firearm, I'd think.

It's not really a collectible made in limited editions of 100 or less with amazing manufacturing tolerances, gold engravings on the receiver and hand-crafted trigger parts, you know... and it's not incredibly accurate (not bad, just not especially a tack driver from all I've read).

To my eyes, the 858 is a workman-like fun gun, pure middle-class of the gun world. My suggestion would be use it to the hilt, get maximum enjoyment out of it and when it's totally worn out and shot out from wear and tear, hand it in for destruction. On the other hand, if you're not going to use it, then sure: sell it to someone that will. :)

Wr762 will be sharing the market with CSA VZ58 (in case of similar price and quality, which I doubt) , but will never share market with military grade cz858.

Don't sell....unless less you are going to ask 1500$

When Wolverine brought in the 'last shipment' for $1000 each, some guys tried that and they sat a long time in the EE. With cheaper options, why bother paying that much. I think Westrifle is too late to the party, personally. Unless they're cheap and better than the used CZ/FSN/CZH/CSA, I can't see them selling that well.

Well one thing is sure, unless they get prohibited there only going to go up in price. Something that someone wants that has not ben made for x number of years, is not available at any retail store since all the stock has dried and is in new condition will rise in price! Look at the Garand, yugo sks, even the svt40 has gone up like 50%! They were $300 and now the stock has dryed up and they are very hard to find at less then $450.

Wen you go to the store would you buy the Heins ketchup or the cheep brand if they would be the same price?

I bought a used wolverine one and frankly I want to mod the #### out of it. Strip it, file all machining marks out, cerakote it black, Zhukov stock, side mount scope etc etc. My son says it will lose value......but it will keep libs awake at night.

When you go to the store would you buy the Heinz ketchup or the cheap brand if they would be the same price?

They'd never be the same price. I'd buy the Walmart ketchup or the French's as they're half the price.

Hard to know if a NR CZ858 will appreciate in value, as they did - then they fell back down. Maybe Westrifle will bring out a version that's much better for $750. Who knows... all I know is my FSN isn't for sale.

You must remember that thousands of the CZ858 rifles were sold here in Canada, there is a ton of them around.

The only way I would let go of a CZ 858 is if you need the money. No more coming, Ever....Done....... I believe there is less the 1000 in the country?

Plus its a CZ, all their line up is absolutely awesome and fantastic quality.
