It has a Minimum price of 2600$ so where is it 1k cheaper? Once the x95 does come out it will be close to 3k.

Huge let down, I'd have thought they'd be seeking to improve upon the tavor's lack lustre accuracy, not nerf it further.

I think it's fair to compare the modern series in here since the price range is not that far from these and it is a black rifle but I do agree the unreliability with mags and ammo could be a frustrating first purchase

Have to see what caliber changes will cost on the APC vs ACR, likely wont drop the ACR as such a platform unless it is leaps and bounds better in that respect

Caliber conversion never appealed to me. I rather have 2 rilles in different caliber than 1 rifle that does both.

Well I had to try it to see if what the fuss was about...lol... and it wasnt like I expected at all. It ended up just more of a PITA.

I played with the tavor and the acr. Bought the tavor. Not a big fan of the looks of the US x95, it's very boxy and not as sleek looking as the Tavor

Apples and oranges. Atrs shouldn't be compared to these. The hunters and varmiters are expensive hunting rifles. Like a browning bar, except picky with ammo and mags. Nothing more

Atrs modern varmiter should be compared they are all semi auto non restricted black rifles. They may have some issues but they are definitely still in the same category. To say it's like comparing apples to oranges is kinda humorous.

So what makes them more of a hunting rig then a bushmaster acr or apc? They are more accurate? I own a modern hunter but the likely hood of me taking it hunting is slim to none. I would however probably take my xcr-m hunting in close range bush hunting scenarios.

Tavor and ACR will run all types of ammo and aren't picky on mags either. The ACR is pretty darn accurate but the groups posted by wolverine of the APC made me order one...lol..
