!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys, I've bought and sold probably north of 300 firearms, and I have never received a finer milsurp in my entire life. To say this Norwegian is "VG" would be like calling Maria Sharapova "plain". The rifle is f**king perfect. All matching K98, with exception of the bolt which is off by 2 digits, matches itself, and was restamped to match the new serial number added by the Norwegians. In other words, it is 100% correct. Very happy camper. Will post pics later. Go to this guy's ad and buy his sh*t... he's the real deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw, it came in a brand new hard case, inside a brand new gun sock. Perfectly clean, oiled and ready to store. I need to do nothing but handle and brag.

Cheerio for now.

sight leaf is also non-matching, which is normal. My closer inspection has revealed a new bore, and based on the unscathed bluing, I would say it was converted to 30-06 and then stored. Holy crap, I cannot wait to take this baby to the range.

there are actually 3 parts non-matching: sight leaf, buttplate (WaA497 brg, H. W. Schmidt), and the bolt (which matches itself, and is also Steyr, WaA623) but all correct for Norwegian Mausers.

See page 1.
I added decent photos.
:)
