Any suggestions on methods to really clean the inside of the bore? I was thinking of maybe putting a bronze brush on an electric drill.
Dude - that is getting to the ridiculous stage. How the heck can you use your handle and not have checked the red rifle stickies? Sorry buddy but you are sinking - bailing, bailing....
No, that strongly goes against my code of ethics - I believe in buying guns, not selling them! Maybe I have mild OCD, but this imperfect bore is really bothering me. And I thought I did everything right by cleaning it right after shooting, which makes it even worse haha. I will give it the boiling water treatment next time

Look I left a patch in my CSA 58 striker channel and it fired for a bit and then failed. That was funny. What you are saying sounds alot like standing around and not getting down to business. Get on it mate. Your man ticket arrived with your PAL.

I'm OCD on certain things as well OP and suggest you go over all your guns every couple of months. Even if you didn't fire them, do it to ingrain the breakdown procedure(s). And Hoppes #9 is your friend.
He says in post #10 SA vz sportster... so that is chrome lined.
Send the rifle to me.. I will shoot it for you and send it back, with a mirror like bore.
Mine is CSA (Czech Small Arms) Chrome lined for my pleasure.. not hers...LOL.. ha,ha ... CZ' 858's never came in black...as the OP mentions his is black as well... did they ?

As far as I know all CSA rifles sold in the last like 4 years have been chrome lined. I think it's been on all their guns for a while.
Maaan, don't tell him that! I know so many shooters that hear that and then think corrosive ammo is a problem simply "solved" by using a solvent. You gotta use hot water to be super thorough because you can pour a litre of it and really make sure you get off all the salts. So many people seem to think that like 10 ml of solvent is going to as much but then surprise, surprise, they get rust.
