Not for one nano-second!It's got you thinking.... hasnt it?
Not for one nano-second!
You need to stand on a milk crate to see though those rings on a BLR.
I've gotta' remember that one.

Did you snap that picture when everyone had their eyes closed while praying?
The old guys are always the most fun.Come in Cubby..... you know you wanna be this guy....... (he's actually my favorite old guy in camp)
A little prayer never hurt before a hunt anytime. They are 7 for 10 this far... they can pray for me any time.

I'm not criticizing the prayer - it's just a bit creepy to take pictures during the prayer isn't it?
270 vs 280 and 338/06 vs 35Whelen threads are always the same. Someone always says that the bullet selection is better for one over the other. I think that if that's their reason for choosing that they should be shooting a 30-06 but usually they're not.Supercub, you should stick to the .270 - you can find ammo anywhere if you forget yours at home.
I can't believe how many times I've read that lousy excuse for choosing a chambering - and never once forgot my ammo at home.
The .280 is a more gooder choice IMHO, if you can remember yer bullets.
It has been a good year.... I have shot zip so far, but I am also the dogger and tend to the hounds...
When in a "dogging" camp the ones do all the shooting, are the ones that have either had knee/hip replacement surgery or use a walker or both... take solace (I think), in knowing that someday you will be using a walker as a rifle rest also...
Let's just say that 4 wheelers make popular stands around here.....
That being said, I scrambled up all the younger hunters and we are setting up for an afternoon run...... only one older fella and a guy my age with the other 4 sitters having a combined 7 years hunting experience......
Put the youngans in the most prime shooting spots for this one, the watches the old guys (now napping) usually take...... hoping one of them gets into some shooting.......
That's why pumpguns are so popular in Ontario. That is what the gang did with me at 15 years of age... 5 deer in 5 minutes with an M94 .32 Spl... good luck!

My dad used to hunt deer with hounds in Ont. Do people still do that there?
Nothing a split pool noodle taped to the comb won't fix. It would actually look good on your brown stock.
