Good Gun Range in Toronto or Surrounding Area

I've tried searching the forums unsuccessfully for information on the Forest Hill Revolver Club - it's just down the road from me and would be an ideal location to shoot once I have my RPAL in hand.

Any opinions on this club?

Silverdale is a great place to go shoot for all the reasons that others have already said. I drive over an hour to get there and l'm more than glad to do so. They have a store on site, and the people are great.

membership is insane , comparing target sports and shooting edge in calgary (same owner ) and ranges also different , like day & night , calgary's much much much better

There is a great range in Sharon but you require a share to become a member and shares are $7500+ now and I see $10k+ asking price on the billboard at the range last time I went to go check.

And that one too. It is getting to become very pricey aquiring a share to join. Supply and demand and thats about 45 mins from Gardiner at Jameson exit to front door on a good day.

Looks like Silverdale is the only reasonable priced shooting range even though it is more than 1 hr drive (+120km one way) from Toronto....
For non-member, a day pass is $20....can't beat that.

Anybody have any recent feedback/opinions on Target Sports Canada? I am contemplating joining this club as it's the closest one to where I live, but there doesn't seem to be any recent feedback on it.
Going through the forums it seems they used to have some ventilation issues, which I believe is fixed now. Their membership cost is much higher than other clubs I've seen around this forum, so my ultimate question is whether or not it's worth the money? Part of that premium is the fact that it's very close to me, but at the same time I don't want to spend $600+ for a year of bad experiences.

The other draw back is that their ranges are only 25m. And their hours are Mon-Sat 10am-9pm, Sunday 10am-6pm.

My colleague goes to Range Burlington (I know it is a little bit further), but membership is $615 with annual renewal of $221 (HST included). They have 50m ranges. Hours of operation is 24/7.
