375 Ruger

I'm just jerking yer chains anyhow. I love the mystique and history of the H & H. I just have caviar dreams but a tuna budget. I've often wanted to buy a rifle chambered in the H & H over the years, but I could never come up with the cash at those times. Then the Ruger came along, and it made it affordable for me at the right time. If I had the cash at a different time, I'd probably be right with you guys bashing Gatehouse.
I'm just glad I have a .375 ANYTHING. None of my friends do, and they all think I am some kind of hunting maniac. Not really, just a gunnut.

You have a great rifle and a great cartridge regardless....... it will do anything you expect a .375 to do for you......... based on the rifle I wanted I ended up in with an H&H........ but I do love the platforms ruger offers the 375 in.......

I just fail to see the need for "royalty"........ let's just head out and put some brown down and have fun and be happy for each other......

There is no need for this dancing banana new king bs..... unless a member has maturity issues ..... then I guess we all have to deal with that........

I'm retired, enjoy shooting and reloading. When the opportunity to pick up a 375 H&H in that model 70 Super Express, I thought, "What the heck, go for it". While I'm still able to handle it and hopefully get to use it in the field, thought I'd better go for it. Then, some time later, especially after reading articles by P.O.Ackley and a few others, ;) I became intrigued with and interested in the 375 Chatfield Taylor also. I was lucky enough to acquire a very nice example of that from SuperCub :) . A custom job based on a Remington 700. Now, I'm more than happy, with both :d .

;) Here you go, my Winchester model 70 Super Express in 375 H&H with its 'almost' twin in 458 WM above.

Come on Lotto 649 tonight :p , and I'm good to go :) .

In the end, it all worked out perfectly. You have the best .375 caliber cartridge available, and it's in a great rifle. :dancingbanana:

I see the .375 Ruger haters are out in full force, they could only resist so long. And they call us immature! Lol!

WELL....................I see any semblance of maturity or propriety has left this thread..........:d:d

Gentlemen, gentlemen..........the short and fat crowd are obviously feeling insecure, show some empathy.......It is very bad form to harass them when their baby is dying.............;);)
