I accept, but getting a moose tag here is next to impossible. I've had three since 1988.I have a mission for you...... should you choose to accept it.....
Would love a pic of it laying over dead critter.......

Very nice rifle right there!! .... I sometimes wish I had gone that route instead of the 257Roberts.
Advertised at 9.3oz There is also the FXII 6x36 which is advertised at 10.0 oz going for weight but depending on what I think of the 4x I may o up to the 6x. Will be my first fixed power so im not sure exactly what I wanted.

Here's a couple............
Rem 700 factory barreled action lengthened to a 4" bolt throw and magazine and bedded into a Brown Precision fiberglass Sako stock, with Sako bottom metal and 6 port Magna Porting in 300 Wby with a Leupold 4-12X40 on it.........never weighed it but it's under 8 lbs.
This is my Ultra Light Mod 700 Ti in 300 WSM, PT&G firing pin and bolt shroud, Brown Precision Kevlar stock Leupold 3-9 compact. 5 lbs 15 oz with scope and sling.
This one ain't no light weight, 700 SS SA with 31" Kreiger heavy varmint barrel in 22-284 in a Remington 700 Laminated Varmint Thumbhole stock. It has PT&G speedlock kit and aluminum shroud and a 40X 2 oz trigger with a 30mm Leupold 6.5-20X40.

That's true, but I'm really not as think as you Fudd I am.WHAT?....there's no fuddiness in an Ackley.......
My "TT" serial 1st gen R700 ti. I didn't personally do a lot to customize this one, as the previous owner here on CGN already had it rebarreled to 338 Federal with a Pac-Nor, and Corlane did the splatter paint on the stock. I wanted it to look closer to factory again, so I sanded the stock down, refinished it and installed a new butt plate to replace the old one, which was worn and got further damaged by removal. There are certainly lighter scopes out there, but I really like having side focus, and the rifle still only weighs 6.x pounds with the relatively heavy NF.

How do you find the recoil on the Ti in 300wsm under 6#?
I am contemplate an ultra light as well but concern for that kind of weight without a brake will be uncomfortable to shoot.
Limbsavers are great but they add what ... 3 pounds ? .... Shocking how heavy some of those are.
I like the fresh paint. Looks like a very nice rig

I don't even notice it, but you are really asking the wrong guy......I regularly shoot 340 Wby, 375s, 378 Wby, 416 Rigby etc, etc, etc,. Some guys have shot it and said it was a little sharp, but I only shoot 150 gn TTSX from it so I really don't think it's bad at all. It doesn't have a recoil pad either as a weight saving feature, it's just a rubber skid plate supplied by Brown.........This rifle is intended to be carried 20 miles for every shot fired so I decided weight was of higher priority than recoil.
I just bought a Leupold VX11 Ultra light 3-9 x33 CDS scope - just weighted it in at 9.48 oz's I am going to use it on my Rem M7 6.5 Creedmoor build - i am aimingfor 5.5 lbs ready to shoot !
