Proof of this? I am very on the fence about Ottawa I'm just having a hard time believing he's not a lib troll.
He conveniently showed up just after the turd won the election.

About him being Liberal? He said that himself, he's a photographer for the parliament. His friends are liberals. Tons of libs and LEOs are members here too.

In general, Liberal MPs are not anti gun, they have people with handguns around them all the time, they can get CCW permit any time too if they wish so. They are just against citizenry owning firearms.

So Ottawa can have a firearm and enjoy the sport, doesn't mean he is not working on our disarmament.

How about this for a form letter?

TO Whom it May Concern,

On October 24’Th I pre purchased a CZ 858 rifle from Wolverine Supplies in Virden MB, payment was accepted on October 27’Th. I believe I became the legal owner at this time, awaiting delivery.
This firearm is the CZ 858 Tactical-2P, with limited edition wood stock & badging, non restricted, FRT # 142362.
On or about November 3, the retailer posted the following notification.

"The Manitoba CFO has requested that we stop retail distribution until the SFSS have rendered their decision. All orders placed prior to this notification will stand. Anyone wishing to cancel and receive a full refund can do so.
Since RCMP-SFSS are requesting the Inspection they have told us they will expedite the matter, and as soon as they have received the firearm examples requested they will give us an estimated completion date for their decision.
We are confident the RCMP will agree that these are non restricted.
In order to fully comply with the Manitoba CFO we cannot accept your order but be prepared as soon as these rifles are correctly classified as the sale will start."

The firearm in question was represented as being a legal, non-restricted rifle with a pre-existing FRT number.
I paid the retailer and am the owner of one of these firearms. Wolverine Supplies is holding my property on your direction. I wish to take possession of it at the earliest opportunity.
Please issue direction for the retailer to ship my property. Failing that, provide a detailed explanation as to why a non-restricted firearm with a FRT number needs to be examined for reclassification. What is the basis for the Manitoba CFO & RCMP-SFSS requiring additional inspections regarding the classification of these firearms? This appears to be a waste of resources given there were less than 300 imported. My legal purchase has been delayed almost 2 months now.

Please respond,
Justin T.

Too true, & a selfie, maybe I could scotch tape one on there.
I could glue 4 of these into a belt on the fax & hit send till they run out of paper!

I will be faxing this to them at my earliest convenience.

Thanks for typing that up. We have to start somewhere, RCMP can't think they are judge and jury, that has to change.

Matt

Wolverines input on this form letter would be appreciated.
Confirmation of the FRT # & date they received the request to stop distribution from the CFO.
Perhaps a contact at the CFO who issued the order so we know who to address our letter to.
Hopefully John will see these posts, I tried pm'ing on CGN but all the Wolverine accounts block pm.
Looking back through this thread I think around 100 people were in on the pre-sale. The date payment went through vs. The date of the the CFO order is important I think. If payment pre dates the order those rifles should ship, Wolverine can put the request to stop retail distribution in the box for the owners to deal with.
Extra azzwipe is always appreciated, just like ammo.
I look forward to a pm from them to get our facts straight before sending letters.

Still no news on a possible timeline for sale, Also how many have not been already been spoken for?? Thanks wolverine.

Will mailing list subscribers be notified when these are available?

I've been going back and forth on one since the last ban. I might just have to buy one now.... It's almost an act of defiance.

It's all about control. Their pissed because Blaney clipped their wings and now this what you get.
There's already a FRT nothing has changed other than the wood and a maple leaf stamp. They should already be on there way.
All it does is show the lack of respect they have for the general public

This ####, ive cleared the cred card. Waiting for them to come in. Will be grabbing one. With or with out all the super cool Canada and Spartan stuff on it.

I'm sure these will sell just as fast as the last batch just because of what happened to this shipment.

Now... Do I need another one ? :p

I asked for an update last Friday, hopefully we will hear something shortly.

I am sooo tempted to post a commentary on this situation, but will wait for a positive development on this, soon hopefully as you say. Thought that I would have my Greek logo 858 by Christmas already. The Grinch resides in Ottawa obviously.

I kicked tires when these where worth 700 bucks before the purge. I will definitely try and get one of these hopefully when the dust settles. Here's hoping there is still some unspoken for.

SO is the RCMP ready to make up their minds on whether these are the same riffles that have always been imported?? Also how many rifles have not been already spoken for? Thanks
