Possibly we could banter this around:.. load 5 + 1 at the start,
solves the ghost issue.. wait for the beep ..and then the pump guys have a long tube to work with.. the semi guys are likely restricted to 6 or 7 but they do have the semi-automatic advantage. Loading skills for all and a level start same as US with 8 + 1 (eg Tac)..what's the thoughts on that?

I like the 5+1 start... less of an equipment race (3" vs 3.5", ghostload or not...), more of a skill test between shooters. I could be sold on 6+1 too, as most guys can legally accommodate that. If you shoot stateside everyone starts with 8+1 in tac ops. Match savers rock.
And yeah I have never been to a match where preloaded shotguns means a loaded chamber, except the Redneck match in BC, but we can add that to some other questionable safety items for that match...
The thing with 5+1 for shotguns is it doesn't make sense unless you carry it into all 3 guns. 5+1 for ARs and 7+1 for pistols follows the same line of reasoning.
3 gun is a skill game AND equipment race in all divisions.
Edit: Also, if the match moving along quickly and smoothly is a priority, 5+1 also means more reloading for pretty much everyone on every stage, and that takes extra time.
Why did the dates get changed? I have to change all my bookings now.
