Prairie Fire Classic Multigun - rescheduled to Aug 26\27, 2017

If you're in se sask, come on over to Wolverine for some face to face advise from the guys here. We are heavily involved in this match and are sending a bunch of guys from the shop to compete. You will be able to put a bunch of different firearms in your hands and find what will work best for you with what you plan to do with it.

You bet. I haven't had a chance to get your shop yet (sad, I know). But I ordered a Burris AR-532 so when it comes in I plan on spending a couple of hours there. I'll talk to you then.

Hi guys and gals, after watching the video and checking a few others out, this just tickles my fancy. I'm in. Question how do I get started? I have lots of shooting experience but more of the traditional hunting and long range stuff. I am horny as hell to get an AR style rifle (so I have done quite of bit of research and looking). I had future plans on purchasing a handgun but have done very little looking. I have limited shotgun experience hunting upland game birds. I currently own a RPR (6.5 Creedmoor), Tikka T3 Lite (308) and a Ruger 10/22. So, I need some gear. Any advice for a guy wanting to start out?

In the next few months I'll have a stag 3g for sale. Just waiting on my build then I'll sell closer to the completion date or after I receive. I haven't decided yet.

Come on CGN get registered we still need some early commitment to finalize some things, let's make this a real east verses west showdown at a brand new centrally located range.

I think I saw something about it earlier but want to clarify, is there room to park the holiday trailer at the range?

If so is there any issue with coming the night before and maybe staying until the morning after?

Just a bump to the top in hopes of getting more people to register. This will be a great match with dedicated RO's so all you have to worry about is your shooting. As well as a large prize table.

Hi Tommy. Assuming you are a member of the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation and have purchased the appropriate range access for the range we are on, the best way to train is to come out for our Wednesday evening practice sessions. We set up a few stages and everyone that shows up gets to run through them.

The other options to supplement are whatever we end up doing for single day monthly matches this summer, and the Prince Albert 3gun matches.

To keep up to date on what happens in Saskatoon's action shooting scene, make sure you get on the SWF opt-in emailing list. PM me or tbooker your email to get started on that.
