Give it a couple of years. The sample was submitted not long after SHOT this year. If recent time lines are any indication of what the future might hold, expect news in 2018 and not before.

Does anyone have more info on the Mountain Machine Works AR180B?
CSA clones in original calibre have their share of issues, their versions of rifle in 5.56 have even more. Extrapolating to even bigger calibre.... I never understood the reason of buying clone rifle for the price of original rifle in first place. And calibre change requires proper R&D, not just changes in parts dimensions. My guess it will be the failure even bigger than 556 version.

Looks like the HK 243 is prohibited. FRN# 156187. The explanation the RCMP have given is that it was "readily and easily converted to discharge shots in rapid succession with a single pressure of the trigger in a relatively short time period with relative ease."

For #### sakes, the 243 is the same trigger group as the G36 which is non restricted.
Sounds like a BS attempt at saying it shoots "like" full auto.

My thought exactly. It almost sounds like they are saying semi-autos are full autos. Not quite, but very close.

I think they are saying they Easily Converted to Full Auto(single pull of trigger), with little effort and time.
