The FRT - Firearms Awaiting Classification - Updated 18-DEC-2017 Faxon XRS-C

As mind bogglingly as this is I am going to try and look at the positive.

Is the PPSH going to be NR or pointless? I have been wanting an NR in 7.62x25 for a long time.

Will it be afford like other Russian guns?

Weight, cost, time and effort to locate parts and have the converesion done, etc.

Basically to make an SL8 into a G36 you will need to replace the lower, stock, and top rail, maybe the handguard, and if you are serious then come the barrel mods (chopping, threading, and reprofiling) and more serious lower/stock mods.

Basically you start with a $2000+ rifle, and dump a pick up load of cash into it just to get it close to a G36.

which probably means the RCMP had a team of engineers and machinist's work for months to make it fire a double tap once = easily to convert to FA

Do they not need to prove to the manufacturer/importer how they were able to "readily and easily converted to discharge shots in rapid succession " ?

Can a manufacturer/importer appeal this ####?

I had confirmation from NS that the HK243 was to be a NR model. Irony is that HK redesigned the SL8/G36 into the 243 with specific efforts to make it more difficult than the Sl8 or G36 to turn into full auto. Seems the RCMP lab engineers are more intelligent then the armature engineers at HK.... (sarcasm) Well this is a huge letdown for me. I definitely had plans to get one.

The EMEI T05 is also a huge lost.

I contact my fried at EMEI last night he said the particular firearm were designed to be semi-auto in the first place.....well....me no happy.
