What is the cost of a base model modern Varminter? Just over 3000$ or more like 4000$ ?
Question: Beerbaron, are you sponsored by ATRS in any way?
Of course he is
individuals are spending $3000 for Tavors and ACR's so this DI rifle is on par with a quality NR firearm.First batch was $3200. Exchange rates have now pushed it to $3350.

Come on Guys, its Christmas, cut the poster some slack. I don't think he was the only one that thought the thread was an infomercial?
Candocad.

Keep it up ATRS! The original subject of this thread proves your gun has what it takes. I'm actually astonished by some of these people. Everyone has wanted an NR AR and now that we have the closest we'll get and it easily hangs with and out-preforms AR's they're complaining. I seriously don't understand people. When I'm done paying off my MH after I've played with it a bit (hopefully next month I'll have it) I'm gonna be ordering an MV. Also, unrelated but any idea on an approximate ballpark on the Modern Magnum. I need a semi .300 AR type rifle like the Nemo Omen in my life. Thanks for the hard work ATRS!
I'm mostly running American Eagle FMJ through mine and getting MOA groups with it. You can't get much cheaper than that other than Norinco ammo.
Given the tiny market and the fact that in the Magnum we don't have any "pre made" parts like bolts assemblies, mags and even furniture available, we have shelved the Modern Magnum project. At least for now. With the concerns on price on the 2 rifles we already make I can't see many sales for the Magnum, which will be significantly more $$ due to having to make literally everything in-house. In an economy that is booming it might have been a risk to take, but here where business in general is being driven off by both governments, the risk is simply higher than I can wager on. To produce the Magnum will require the purchase of a few more machines, which then also requires a larger facility, all of which adds up to a significant investment in a questionable time.

I would love an NR like that.
