I have older Hornady Manual but need to update to newer ones.
Do you feel there is a superior Powder for loading 9mm
I was thinking of WSF as I can also use it for shot shell if I buy in bulk but was thinking maybe there is a superior powder for 9mm.

I use Bullseye, Win 231, Tightgroup and finding HS6 working pretty good for 124 or heavier but I'm sure others use different.

I have only been reloading for a short period of time, but as of right now, I use TiteGroup and CFE Pistol. I just put holes in paper and these go bang every time. Very interested in what other use.

I use tight group. Not to sure if it is superior or not but it works in my 9mm and .45 and it seems to be easy to come by. I just use it for plinking at the range so I don't need anything fancy just something that works.

Around 10K rds using HP38, meters nice with good case fill, Titegroup works well too but is a wee bit fussier. Not that that stopped me from loading 800 near max rds with it.

If you are going to update the Hornady book be aware that their 10th edition is out and has a lot of new loads in it I've been told but I noticed none of the stores I've been in here in Calgary have them. They still have the 9th edition on their shelves. Not if where you are is the same or not.

Interesting as I was at Bass Pro the other day and they didn't have 10'th Edition.....I will have to a check local store and Cabela's.

I'm also looking for another good manual other than Hornady that incorporates other manufactures bullets for rifle and hand gun

I bought my 10th Edition from Brownell's - have not seen the 10th edition in the Interior BC or Calgary when I was there at XMas. FWIW got the new 50th Lyman and old Sierra at same time but shipping for all three was a killer due to weight. I suspect both new manuals should be available in Canada soon....

I will shortly be using Win 231 for 9mm, currently doing .45 with it.

Also lots of free data from powder oem's online.
