Nice, I tried to order from the IPSC store, and for some reason, it kept saying that there was an error with my CC, so I eventually gave up. If you put 10 & 11lb mainsprings, you MUST use lightened firing pin spring or you will have light strikes. It may not happen everytime, but it will happen when you least expect it.

I had that same problem. Turns out my CC had a lock on my account for international or what they may think are suspect transactions. I had to call the CC and tell them to remove it for the day.
Yup, got the lightened firing pin spring installed from my first order. If I knew Slavex had springs sooner, it would have saved me a whole lot of time and money.
I swapped my springs out for a 13 lb spring main/hammer and the 11lb recoil spring, the slide operates easier but am having issues with the CCI primers, maybe 2 out of 10 won't fire but usually go on the second try. No sure what route to take from here, any suggestions?

Strange. I also have the 13lb hammer spring and had all parts polished for a 6.5lb double trigger pull and have no issues with cci primers. Double check that your press is seating the primers deep enough and pull out your firing pin to make sure there's no obstructions or oil in there.
Make sure you are seating the primers fully. You should not have any problems setting off CCI primers. You may find some of your cases have tight primer pockets which require a bit more pressure to fully seat the primers. Are you using S&B brass by any chance? I find they have very tight primer pockets and don't bother with S&B brass anymore.

A 13lb mainspring should be adequate enough to pop CCI primers with the factory firing pin spring. As cars pointed out, check your reloads as your primers may not be seated fully.
Just don't switch to a lighter firing pin spring with a 13lb mainspring and here's why (for me at least)... I was waiting for a 11lb mainspring to come in and I had a 12lb mainspring installed at the time but I suspect it was probably closer to 13lbs. I figured I'd install my lightened hammer spring in the meantime. Did some dry firing and noticed that my firing pin was stuck all the way forward through the firing pin hole of the slide. I had to tap it back using a brass rod I keep on hand just in case of squibs. It wasn't just a couple gentle taps to get it to retract either. She was wedged in good which may have meant pierced primers and/or frequent misfeeds/jams or a broken firing pin.
If you're still getting light primer strikes, you could switch primer brands or maybe snip 1/2 coil or so off your factory firing pin spring to see if improves light primer strikes?

No I didn't change the firing pin spring but I think I will cut it down a little before trying the gun again. It's not a primer seating problem, I've been reloading for a long long time. I just had the firing spring out and it's clean in there. It was quite cold today and I have noticed very light primer hit on my previous visits.
Slavex is a CZ sponsored shooter. He gets the cool stuff.
Tenda had some other coloured S2 grips the other day.
Follow this dissambly guide for removing the safety. Pretty easy after doing it a couple times.

Oleg's page is a good one to follow, only thing I disagree with is removing the left side detent, I leave it in place, the hammer pin keep pin usually keeps it from moving out, just be aware of it's existence and you should be fine.
My red grips came from the factory through Robin when I was EHC in the fall. Waiting on the others to arrive.

Thinking now am going to try to find a firing pin spring a little softer than the stock and leave the one that came in the pistol as is.

Trinimon if that is your Shadow2 all in pieces and you post a picture of it all back together you will become my hero. Tried removing my safety on my regular Shadow a few years back and it only cost me $150 to have Gunnar put it back together and ship it back to me. :>)

This would be my Shadow 2. Full strip minus mag release and extractor on the slide for polishing up contact points and changing out hammer, trigger and sear springs. Always a nervous thing the first time with a new gun but I've done it a few times already so it's pretty quick to reassemble.
lol, I'll be out of a job in a couple weeks, I would have done it for free just to keep myself busy.
lol, yeah, I almost lost that left spring and detent for the satey. Damn thing slipped off my punch and went flying across my bench. Luckly, my bench rag caught it. ACK!
