That being said, handguns are not meant for "home defense" in Canada...
Or anywhere else for that matter. You want "home defense", get a shotgun.
Home defence ? Not a chance. Let me see this scenario. Guy breaks into my home fully stoked with his testosterone through the roof and hopefully not full of narcotics. I'll approach him and say," Hold on, let me go to my gun safe, pull of the trigger guard, get my rounds in another container and load my clip and I'll be right up to 'threaten you' BUT cannot fire it anyway.)
Nope I use a handgun for home defense in my US house. Much easier to navigate tight spaces. Plus I know the manual of arms pretty well considering I used the same handgun for competition.

Nah, My dog is way for leathol.
I purchased the pistol after heading over to the firing range with my Pastor who is an avid shooter for 20 years and it was fun especially night shooting outdoors.
Now if Zombies do attack I hope there not wearing body army since my 9mm will not make a rats ass of a difference trying to penetrate it and I'm just not that good at head shots!

Get the light, mount it on your pistol, then use it the only way you can...............................while watching television in the dark, point the pistol at the wall and make shadow puppets.
Just double check it is unloaded... That would be really hard to explain at the ER.
Naw, they used to ppl shooting themselves in the hand when testing gun mounted lasers at the range lol!!
Your issues begin with you dont know what the law is and are handicapping your self for no reason
Shawn
Point well taken. I have read the gun laws but the police seem to make arbritary and unwarranted decisions that contradict our laws. I recall several years ago a gun owner firing warning shots when a group set his home ablaze. He was acquitted but the legal system put him through hell let alone tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Cheers.
Well, you absolutely need a tactical light on your pistol, as well as a complete set tactical web gear, urban camo, a Kevlar helmet, and night vision goggles.
You just can't be a weekend warrior otherwise. It says so in their rule book.
