This has my curiosity up... what happened here? Did someone complain about a 7 year old shooting a rifle? My kids started on small game at 4 years old... so alot of my photos would get banned also...
 
after all the compliments and kudos, why would you let one ignorant comment make you pull your thread? There is one in every bunch, don't let them win by giving in. That is what they want you to do.
Even though you pulled your posts, good on you and congrats to your daughter.

Couldn't be the mods cause post 2 is by Jay the Super Mod. with AWESOME and congrats.

I can hazard a guess about what may have happened here, but won't post that guess as I am assuming the mods wouldn't want it rehashed..... I was happy for him and his daughter but one needs to be careful about what they post in the internet.....

In Ontario,we can take kids hunting with us anytime at any age. There's a Hunter Apprenticeship program available to youngsters at age 12 that allows them to hunt "officially" with (Class A1) a license with certain restrictions after they've complete the Ontario Hunter Safety Training Course. They must hunt with a licensed hunter over the age of 18,use one firearm between the two and game taken must be included in the mentor's daily bag limit. The course is mandatory for anyone hunting over the age of 16 before they can apply for a license.
 
I am not going to go into full details as I don't care much for opinions and internet keyboard warriors. Bottom line someone went well out of their way to make an official complaint in regards to the legality of a 7 year old shooting at live animals in Ontario. The end result is unknown but I have a fairly good feeling nothing will come of it after discussing the circumstances. I am going to continue to bring my kids hunting and involving them to the full extent that they are capable of. When they are physically capable of performing a practical exam, they will and when they turn legal age to take the hunting courses, they will as well.

Our own community is our worst enemy...

FYI...I am 100% legal and licensed fully, and coyotes in our area are open season all year with no tags or bag limits
