I rarely share on this board as there doesn't seem to be that many serious Soviet / Mosin collectors in Canada but I figured I would post these two.
I put them on Gunboards as I had a few questions about them and the questions were answered.
Both rifles were made at Factory No. 74 in Izhevsk and have excellent bores.
They received a thick, ugly coating of shellac for long term storage but the stocks are unsanded and the original finish is underneath. They're both original condition otherwise. (The 1943's nose cap may have been replaced, it was authorized for factories to re-use older parts to keep up with production and it's not unheard of but there is no way to know if it was replaced later or just original.)
