Update: I picked up a VLTOR lower, still unsure as to what buffer I should pick up though

The port size on your barrel will be the determining factor.
My 10.5" Noveske likes an H2 Buffer. It will run any ammo from my light handloads to very hot 5.56 without issue.
If you have an H buffer already just buy an H3. You can open them up and mix and match the steel and tungsten weights to make an H1, H2, or H3

My 7" PSA 7.62x39 upper on a Bushmaster lower with an H buffer has run 100% so far. Really fun gun. Massive fireballs.

Never knew that was possible. Will try out the H and do this if she's having trouble.
