I hope to scope and shoot my Custom Cooper .17 HMR that has been sitting in the safe, unfired since my daughter was born ( she is almost 6 now)
As I noted in a previous post, I'm anticipating having a lot of time beginning later this year as I'm planning on retiring. I have a more specific goal now. I'm going to do my best to see if there is a difference in accuracy from the bench between a 1913 and a 1907 at 50 and 100 yards.
I remember that rifle...Lilja barrel with gorgeous wood and lots of engraving? It was the rifle that motivated me to order my own Cooper HMR! 17 months and waiting so far.
YIKES!!!! You know, "golf" is a 4 letter word Bull's-Eye! lol I know lots of avid shooters, and even more avid golfers. However, I've never met a guy who dry-docked such a nice rifle and went golfing instead..for several years!
Reminds me of that quote; "A golf course is the willful and deliberate misuse of a perfectly good rifle range."![]()
LOL. Yep. That's the one. What are the details of yours?

Sorry to here of your travel distance situation, SP. I am 20 minutes to either POCO range and DVC. This is my second year with DVC and in spite of proximity, still manage to go only once or twice a month at best.
I have resisted moving to other cities because I am at least close to the range and my RC flying field.
For me, I definitely have to make the time, or it aint gonna happen.
Have you thought of moving closer?
Yes you're probably going to have to shoot them back to back to eliminate weather , fatigue variables .Sounds like fun.
Was going to go Klinsky but the fellow who sold them out of the USA is no longer in business.
