Gold speer 9mm +P+ in a gen4 G17.

I had 20 rounds given to me and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to fire them out of my Glock or not. Is this safe or a bad idea to fire +P+ out of a Gen4 G17 or g19. Thanks.
I would if it were me without hesitation. 20 rounds isn't that much. I've got no idea if it's true but I've read online that +P is about the same as NATO 9mm, and I fired probably 5000 rounds of that back in the 1990s through my first G17. Factory +P+ can't be that much worse Not responsible if it blows up your Glock :)

The only 9mm pistols you have to worry about with high pressure ammo are stuff like vintage Hi Powers and early S&W autoloaders, and even then, you'd probably have to do a fair amount of shooting to cause a problem as long as they were in good condition.

That said, I'd hang onto this ammo if I were you.
