I got it second hand. It was on consignment at PRF and couldn't pass it up.
Hope all is well with you 45Auto. I haven't had it out yet to speak of but if one day this week isn't terribly windy I hope to get it and some others out.
After getting a KKM a year ago, I can say I really like Walther rifles. I like them so much a got a second KKM. The Walther triggers are exquisite.

Did you swap the stocks on the two Fortners?
Yes, the Fortner 1827F Sprint action and the wood from my 1727F. At approx. 6lbs plus a scope it makes for a nice light set up. https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/for...-My-lightweight-1827F?p=13477061#post13477061
Perhaps a little more prosaic than the beautiful 1727/1827 Fortner of icedragon, this rifle arrived today. It has a 6.5 ounce trigger out of the box. I haven't decided what scope to put on it; it will be either a Sightron SIII 8-32 or a BR 36X scope. I can say I'm looking forward to getting to the range -- as soon as this blasted snow goes!

I haven't decided what scope to put on it; it will be either a Sightron SIII 8-32 or a BR 36X scope. I can say I'm looking forward to getting to the range -- as soon as this blasted snow goes!
That looks like a great bench rest rifle. Now I am thinking.
You're right -- it is a 1907. A bench rest stock like this doesn't need a butt plate or pad. As explained to me by Brad at Nordic Marksman, using a rear bag and minimal contact, the butt pad is unnecessary as the rifle is not really shouldered. This style of stock should make for an interesting comparison with the 1913 with the stock shown in post #258. That stock has an adjustable butt pad and looks like this. The stocks are interchangeable with both actions.

Very nice grauhanen, I like the stock. I went with the S3 10-50.
This new-to-me rifle arrived recently. It's a Krico and although there's no model stamped on it I believe it's a Model 330S. It has a 22.25 inch barrel, 0.861" diameter. The trigger is very light at 7.6 ounces. I'll put either a 6-24 or 36X scope on it. I'm looking forward to getting this to the range.

Superbly AWESOME! I went with a Sightron 8-32. 36 fixed is tough to get used to... I am having issues getting used to a fixed 24x

No issues at all. I don't shoot the expensive stuff in the 14" 22lr but it works great.
