Hi,

I know it is kinda d:h: but,
I keep my eyes on ammo prices daily, and I noticed that one of my favourites the .22 LR Federal 525 Value Pack went up to $40 last night from $34.59 at CT. I guess the others will follow soon.

I was under the impression that ammo prices will go a little bit down in the Trump era...

Pretty soon I can forget the .22 and start reloading 9 mm for a bit more.

That's my favourite flavor and over the past 6 months I have noticed that the usual places raised it to $40. CT was the last place I found that had it for $35. I tried to get them to bring the 19 boxes from drumheller to calgary but they said nope. About 4 months ago i bought 3 cases from the shooting center for $35 a box as i seen the prices rising. As of a month or 2 ago the shooting center raised their prices to $40 as well. $5 a box is a big jump IMHO.

There seems to be a shortage of 22lr in some areas . I have not seen any 22lr at Walmart for several months . Maybe Walmart is going out of ammo sales ?

They just finished renovating the Ancaster WalMart and they stopped selling ammunition :-(
Also other ones have less and less hunting equipment and gear every year.

If Costco would only sell ammo...

My Costco bill is big enough. Those giant carts full of ammo, that is crazy!

With Trump as President, gun demand in America is dropping. So all of the inventory will have to be sold because
the Democrats lost and demand has dropped.

I think California(currently the worlds 5th biggest economy) is to blame, they have draconian restrictions on ammo in the works over the next few years.

Incorrect. Now Liberals are gettin into guns. First time buyers into the sport. In general this means an overall expansion of the sport/hobby/whatever. Demand wont drop until the fear goes away.

Hopefully this will also mean further development of Canadian manufacturing. We already have a good start but more would be helpful.
