The Battle Rifle Pictures Thread

Froze my ass off in my uninsulated garage to get the cheek riser, scope rings and scope installed and torqued. Love how it looks and feels, can't wait to go shoot it.

Springfield m1a standard
Arms #18 mount
ATRS high rings
Vortex Viper PST 4-16x
Tac Pro m14 cheek riser

That's a classy looking rifle! Very nice!

what are you guys doing for optics on m14's, they destroy everything i put on it? i see zeiss, vortex, leupold, how are they holding up?

I have run a cheap Burris e1 2-7 for 2 years did not have a problem, I mouve that scope to my second m14 and install a Burris e1 3-9 on my first m14, that scope has ben on my rfb for 2 years before the one year on the m14. Never had a problem.

Do you shoot Hornady superformance or 180 gr. ammo?

Thanks man! This was my first ever paint job and I happened to do the left first, so naturally after learning from some mistakes the right side came out better haha! Any tips on how to correct, without sanding down and starting from scratch?

I only did one myself and yours is way better lol
I think the only option would be to strip it. It looks fine the way it is! Maybe you could do like a cut out in paper and spray over that to give more detail or something

Closest thing I have to a battle rifle... albeit a short one... the one on the left. I've been thinking about adding a longer XCR-M or Famae 542 to the stable for a while, but haven't yet.

I got my m14.ca SHG-M mounted on my M1A NM, with a matching Colt. We are lucky to have such support with our M14 platform, thanks to Frank for the quality goodies and service!
