Hi folks ! Just a quick update on my previous post, I'm trying to learn about winchesters since it's the first one I ever bought and I know only the basics for now. I recently made a post about a Winchester Model 1895 that I was going to pick up after only seeing a couple of pictures of it. I brought it home and I thought first it was chambered in 30 06 but was very surprised to see that it was actually chambered for 30-40 Krag (30 US). I also thought by the pictures that there was a barrel band attached to the front wood but I was very happy to see in the end that it was only a leather strap attached there to make a sling point. So the rifle is not badly hurt front what I can see now. An other good news is that it's dated 1898 ! Also in very good working order and solid as rock. The bore is bright and shiny.
Everything I thought It was actually was not... It only looks to be a nice 27 barrel sporting 95 with a desirable Lyman Peep sight but again, I only know little for now so that' s why i'm writing this post. I'm looking for an accurate value on this as well as interesting infos.
Here is a serie of new pictures that I hope will help telling what it's worth.
Thanks in advance.

PREVIOUS MESSAGE ! : Hi guys ! What would be the approximate value of a 1895 Winchester 30 06 rifle Sporter with an uncut barrel and barrel band still in place ?
Thanks
