win 94 clone in 762x25

How about just reloading 30-30 cast for a model 94. Using trailboss I get around 1000 fps with 170 grainers and it's like shooting a 22lr. Costs about 8 cents a pop. You could do the same with 357 mag.

If your really set on a 7.62x25 rifle I think you would have better luck with getting chiappa to build you an M1-9 in 762.
Just my 2 cents

reason I'm asking is they just posted a new norc m14 in 762x39, plus just think a lever action one would be awesome

An m14 with a different bolt face and rebarreled is fairly simple in most rifle. Going from a rimmed case to a rimless case is a different story. I'm no gunsmith. But I believe even the way they headspace is different. Are you talking x25 or x39? X39 is a no go because of the spire point anyways

yup I get the whole no spiral ammo in a tube idea, was just using the m14 in 762x39 as an example of what this company has recently brought in that they re engineered for the consumers, due to consumer interest. If we let them know we want things like this, than maybe they will bring it, who knows?

There is already an M14 in 7.62x39. Its called a Mini 30.

I actually been daydreaming about calling TNW Firearms and asking them to create a barrel/mag kit chamber the Survival Rifle in 7.62x25 with Tokarex mags. But the issue is to find Tokarev mags.

So then I started daydreaming about making polymer Toka mags and becoming (in)famous :p

Make it a model 92 clone then you got a deal
100% right. The 94 in pistol calibres was always something of a compromise, and getting that action to play nicely wilth lil' stumpy pistol cartridges instead of the long rifle cartridges it was designed to work with would be a lot harder than rejigging the 92.

That being said, I have a 94 trapper in 45 long colt that will be going in the box with me at the end of my days. I love that little rifle.

Questions around making it work with rimless cartridges remain. Marlin made it work with the 336 and family. How about a trapper-length Marlin 94 clone in 7.62x25, loaded with soft flat points?
