Hello. I'm wondering if those who know can tell me how much a decent but not perfect Cooey Winchester Model 84 (not 840) in .410 is worth on today's market.
I'm well aware that people try to score Cooeys cheap.
I'm told top collecting interest is 28 gauge, followed by .410.
And I know lots of people like to hunt small game with .410's.
Are they a premium priced model due to the gauge?
Rather than telling me it's worth $75 and I should sell it to you
rolleyes
please let me know your best informed guesstimate as to max dollar this could sell for.
This one has a slight crack under the stock back from the trigger guard. A few minutes with carpenter's glue and clamps overnight would see that go away.
Nice shiny bore.
I paid extra for it because it's a .410. Shooting a Model 84 in 12 gauge is a bit less than complete fun....first shotgun I ever owned and shot.
