As long as nobody suggests leg wrestling
That's Indian leg wrestling to be exact....
hung like a mushroom in a cornfield.....
Remington Sportmsan Hi-speed steel 3" is what I was using.....
Seems like all you guys had 3" ers ... lol
13 pages and I've seen no mention of what ammo you guys were using for this adventure ?
Seems like all you guys had 3" ers ... lol

I was "using" a three incher too... but there's nothing Hi-Speed about it... starts off as a .22 Short and over a 30 minute period works it way up to a 3" .410... with the right incentive... you know the generic name for ######??? "Micocksafloppin..."

try that recipe if you can guys.
change ducks by the white geese ... we did in Quebec and they re some guys that didnt believe how geese can be that good ....

Credit goes to swinginberries for the pic....... he almost made me look good... lol.... notice the sunburn..... that is what a late March snow goose field should look like......
Big credit to our gang, we had a great time in spite of adverse conditions, we downed a decent amount of geese and we had a blast..... that is why it's called hunting and not shooting, when Mother Nature tries to make you her b1tch, you fight back and persevere.... as was said a while ago in this thread, you wont remember the goose count 10 years from now... but you will definitely remember the experience..... and I will remember it fondly......
Well....if anyone is wondering....snow goose sausage is delicious! As are the legs slow cooked in tomato sauce.
Im impressed!
Funny to see this pop up..... I was just out on the deck barbecuing and watching the remaining goose feathers float around....
How is the jerky?
