My kimber MA in 308 does everything I ask of it. Very accurate to 300 meters which is good enough for me.

I really have a soft spot for a Sako Finnlight in 30-06 though. It just fit me well and balanced perfect.

The Savage and T3 look like the best bang for the buck on the list. The Howa is over $1400 plus tx and shipping.

Yeah my LWH Igot for 750.... I like it so much I bought 2 more the same for my kids. Mine are the long action in 6.5x284 so it's 6.0 even, but all 3 have 2-7 on them, and I don't even sling it it's so light and small the sling just gets in the way. I had a Montana in .338 Federal and I sold it. It's my second try on a Kimber action and it's the second time I wasn't impressed.

I've looked at Sako carbonlite and for me it is not worth it. Its just a finlight -400 gramms in weight, + $2K in price. The stock itself is nice looking, but it feels... meh somehow. Very slick all around with that fake rubbery coating which is kinda soft but slippery.
